Top Ten Tuesday: Recommendations for Romance Lovers

Woohoo. Top Ten Tuesday is back after a few weeks off for the summer.

This week’s topic: book recommendations. And as a romance lover, my choice is fairly obvious. I’ll admit, some of these books I may have shared in a recent list…but I just can’t help it. There are certain swoon-worthy books that made it deep to my heart.

So without further ado, here you go.

Note: Links in this post may include affiliate links which provide me with a small commission at no expense to you.

I picked books from my favorite romance novelists to complete this list. While I chose one book per author, these authors will make a romantic’s heart swoon no matter which book you choose. From Julie Lessman, Karen Kingsbury, Denise Hunter, Becky Wade, Rachel Hauck, Susan May Warren, Pepper Basham, Roseanna White, Jen Turano, and Stephania McGee, you’ll find historical and contemporary romances with different styles, engaging characters, and swoon-worthy moments from the beginning to the end.

As always, I’d love to hear from you. In the comments, share if you’ve read any books by these authors. If so, what were your favorites?

Do you have any authors/books that you would add to this list? If so, please share.

See you soon,

CJ Myerly

Nice list. 🙂 I’ve read a couple of the books on the list but didn’t *really* like them too much – probably due to the fact that I’m not incredibly into the romance genre. Still, it’s a lot of fun seeing books I recognize. 🙂

Yes, definitely have to enjoy romance to enjoy these books. It’s my favorite genre, but not everyone’s.

I’ve read several of these and the rest are on my TBR list. I’m actually in the middle of True to You right now!

Oh, yes! Definitely some good ones there! Melissa Tagg is another must-read romance author for me. 🙂

I have some recommendations for those who love small-town settings on my blog today, and there are quite a few of the same authors featured!

Did I see some historical fiction on here? 😉 Accidental Bride sounds like an attention grabber…

You did. Accidental Bride is a contemporary novel, but In His Eyes, A Hope Undaunted, A Name Unknown, and Behind the Scenes are all historical. Accidental Bride is definitely an attention grabber. I’ve read it twice. The first time–in one night.
