Top Ten Tuesday: Preschool Books

It’s Top Ten Tuesday again! This week it’s the back-to-school edition. Do you have children going back to school?

My daughter is four and my son is two, but I plan to homeschool so we’re using ABC Jesus Loves Me.  Today I’m sharing my top ten favorite books for preschoolers.

There are so many amazing books out there for young children. Reading to them is so important. I strive to read to them twenty minutes a day. It doesn’t have to be all at the same time, but it develops literacy, comprehension, and interest.

Most of these books are well-known, but definitely fit my list for the top ten.

What books do your preschoolers love?

  1. Literary Feline

My daughter loves the Pinkalicious books. And the “If You Give…” series books. 🙂 She adores anything by Dr. Seuss. When she was younger, she loved the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom book. Great list! Thank you for sharing!

  2. Cholla

Anything by Dr. Seuss is always a winner! But I remember The Little Engine that Could and The Little Red Hen, too!

    Here is our TTT.
